Foundations classes build overall strength, coordination, balance, flexibility, and core stability while focusing on the Pilates movement principles utilizing Pilates equipment (reformer, chair, step barrel, tower). In this class we move at a thoughtful pace to gain the skills of foundational (level 1) exercises, along with mastering pre-Pilates and intro level exercises. There will be a few level 2 exercises thrown in for good fun! Level 1 classes are perfect for those who are new or newer to Pilates equipment, or who like a slower pace, or for those who have an injury or limitation and want extra time setting up each exercise.
