We LOVE Pilates around here at the studio! When everyone starts there is a slight learning curve as we try to figure out how to move our bodies on the Pilates equipment (called apparatus). The BEST way to learn is with a small group all going through the same learning curve together!
Ready to gain strength, feel empowered, and become more flexible? Then this series is for you! With this series you will first learn the foundational level 1 Pilates exercises to eventually try out some of the level 2 exercises in week four and five. You learn how to work the equipment and how to adjust and modify the exercises to suit your body and ability. After this series you will feel ready and confident to join the small group apparatus classes here.
Every week we focus on a different piece of equipment:
- 1st week: Reformer (level 1)
- 2nd week: Barrel and Tower (level 1)
- 3rd week: Chair (level 1 & 2)
- 4th week: Reformer (adding level 2 exercises)
- 5th week: Tower (adding level 2 exercises)
