This class strengthens all major muscle groups, heart, and lungs, as well as, increases circulation with rounds of leg exercises, arm exercises, core exercises, and HIIT-style cardio intervals utilizing bands, hand weights, gliders, Pilates ball, bosu balance trainer, and sitting box.

Metabolic conditioning, or MetCon for short, refers to intelligently designed workouts that increase the amount of energy stored and released by the body. With MetCon style of training the body more efficiently burns fuel by using moderate-intensity to high-intensity interval sessions. This form of training benefits fat loss, increased lean muscle, and improved sports performance, and these benefits are delivered in a much shorter amount of time than in other forms of training (especially with dialed-in nutrition). Because the workouts are designed by Amy, a clinical Pilates instructor, certified corrective exercise specialist, and a bachelor of science in kinesiology university student, all of the exercises are gentle on the joints yet highly effective for weight loss, strength and endurance, and increased lean muscle goals.
