The Foundations level focuses on building functional movement patterns working with pre-Pilates and foundational Pilates exercises to increase strength, endurance, coordination, balance, flexibility, and core stability. Depending on the theme of the class, benefit from using a variety of Pilates Apparatus: Reformer, Wunda Chair, Arm Chair, Tower, Spine Corrector, Small Barrel, Low Mat with strap and handles, along with classical Pilates props: Toe Corrector, Foot Corrector, Breath-a-cizer, Pilates balls, Pilates rings, and Bean Bag Roll Up Device. Foundations classes are perfect for those who are new or newer to Pilates, those who need to build important foundational muscular connections, those who like a slower transitional pace, or for those recovering from a serious injury. Brand new clients wanting to try the Pilates method are welcome to attend any Foundations class on the schedule, we’d love to have you!
