During Group Apparatus 1 classes we focus on functional movement patterns working with pre-Pilates and foundational Pilates exercises to increase whole body strength, coordination, balance, flexibility, and core stability utilizing the Pilates apparatus: Reformer, Chair, Barrels, and Tower, as well as, classical Pilates props: Toe Corrector, Foot Corrector, Breath-a-cizer, Pilates balls, Pilates rings, and Bean Bag Roll Up Device. We also program a few appropriate intermediate one exercises, depending on the clients in the class. Group Apparatus 1 classes are perfect for those who are new or newer to Pilates, or who like a slower transitional pace, or for those recovering from a serious injury. Brand new clients wanting to try the Pilates method are welcome to attend any Group Apparatus 1 class on the schedule.
