Group Apparatus 2 classes are an intermediate level class that move at an moderate pace to allow for precision of movement and modifications to increase whole body strength, coordination, balance, flexibility, and core stability. More time is allotted for greater explanation and demonstration while working out with intro, level 1, and level 2 Pilates exercises, while providing opportunities to learn and experience a handful of attainable level 3 exercises. This class uses the Reformer, Tower, Chair, and Barrels, as well as, classical Pilates props (Toe Corrector, Foot Corrector, Breath-a-cizer, Pilates balls, Pilates rings, and Bean Bag Roll Up Device). We require at minimum completing the 5 intro series classes or three privates before attending Group Apparatus 2 classes. Need to feel comfortable standing on wooden platform during side split and lunges.
