The Foundations level focuses on building functional movement patterns working with pre-Pilates and foundational Pilates exercises to increase strength, endurance, coordination, balance, flexibility, and core stability. Foundations classes are perfect for those who are new or newer to Pilates, those who need to build important muscular connections, those who like a slower transitional pace, or for those recovering from a serious injury. Depending on the theme of the class, clients benefit from using a variety of Pilates Apparatus. Brand new clients wanting to try the Pilates method are welcome to attend any Foundations class on the schedule, we’d love to have you!
