Intermediate classes work at a solid intermediate level to increase strength, endurance, coordination, balance, flexibility, and core stability. For most, the intermediate level is the perfect level to stick with for a long time. Class flows a consistent moderate pace, yet we also make time for explanation and demonstration to receive important muscular connections to achieve effective form. Need to feel comfortable standing on wooden platform during side splits and lunges, as well as, kneeling on the moving carriage. Approval is needed before attending Intermediate classes for the first time, please connect with Amy for advice. Depending on the theme of the class, clients benefit from using a variety of Pilates Apparatus: Reformer, Wunda Chair, Arm Chair, Tower, Spine Corrector, Small Barrel, Low Mat with strap and handles, along with classical Pilates props: Toe Corrector, Foot Corrector, Breath-a-cizer, Pilates balls, Pilates rings, and Bean Bag Roll Up Device.
